About
When we started beekeeping we often felt lost and confused. We sought the help and advice of "experienced" beekeepers but often found the old adage to be true, "Ask 10 different beekeepers the same question and you'll get 11 different answers."
We learned that beekeeping is more instinctive than just getting answers from books. It's a matter of learning, learning, and learning some more, then getting in harmony with your bees. Believe it or not, they will tell you what they need... and what they don't need.
Hobby Beekeepers' information is sourced from across the web. We are not here for the commercial beekeeper, but strive to provide everything the hobbyist needs to know.
This is your community so feel free to send content, photos, videos, anything worth sharing with your fellow backyard beekeepers.
Our Vision
Our vision is to empower the beekeeper who is in it for the love of the bees... and their sweet products.
With information comes power.
Read, study, view, listen, then make the best decisions for managing your bee colonies.
